This is a 1984 UK white-label 12″ pressing of Echo Minott's "Cool & Deadly" on Shuttle Records (catalogue SH011). 

While "Cool & Deadly" is officially listed as a 7″ Jammy’s single from 1983, this 12″ white label serves as a promo making it a hard to find release. The release typifies Echo Minott’s gritty yet melodic style, produced by King Jammy's camp, and features the hard-hitting rhythm and vocal delivery that made his name in the mid‑’80s reggae and early dancehall scene.

The test play for this little wonder was excellent. A real cracker!
