Released in 1981 on Crass Records , Penis Envy is the third studio album by anarcho‑punk collective Crass and marks a bold departure from their earlier hardcore sound. Recorded at Southern Studios in December 1980, the album features exclusively female vocals by Eve Libertine and Joy De Vivre—Steve Ignorant is listed as “not on this recording”—and pivots toward feminist themes, challenging marriage, the patriarchy and sexual repression rather than simply railing against “the system”. 

Upon release it hit No.1 on the UK indie charts, though copies were seized by Manchester police under the Obscene Publications Act! Now considered a punk classic, Penis Envy is a must have! The album comes in the original poster sleeve and is an absolute beauty!
