Sleeve VG+; Vinyl VG+. "A Girl Like You" and "Blues Before And After" open this record in fine style, with the New Jersey band's knack for crunchy guitars and big melodic hooks on full display. This was The Smithereens' third studio album, released in 1990 on Enigma.
