Sleeve VG+; Vinyl VG+. "White Light/White Heat" and "Sister Ray" still sound raw and untamed, pure feedback-driven Velvets at their most fearless. Originally released in 1968, this is a 1984 reissue on Verve, and it's a great copy with plenty of life left in the grooves.
