Sleeve M; Vinyl M. 'Drums And Wires' is the tenth in a series of XTC Classics to be reissued on 200 gram vinyl. The album has been mastered by Jason Mitchell at LOUD mastering with input from Andy Partridge and is fully approved by XTC. 'Drums and Wires' was originally released in 1979 and entered the UK Albums Chart where it remained for a total of seven weeks. The album also featured another first for the band, a Top 20 UK (and international) hit single in album lead track 'Making Plans for Nigel'. A cracker from Swindon's finest!
