Welcome to the Hair of the Dog Vinyl website! We're incredibly proud of the site and hope that you find it easy to navigate. Let's hope it becomes your go-to place to buy your vinyl! So, what can you expect from HotD Vinyl?

We believe in offering choice. Some buyers want the original pressings, some want rare pressings and some want brand new, sealed albums. We will do our best to make sure that all are available here. If you can't find what you're looking for, drop us a line on the 'Contact Us' page and we will see what we can do.

We also believe in honesty. We will always endeavour to give accurate descriptions and test play as much of the vinyl as possible so that the descriptions are as accurate as they can be. The pictures of the used albums on this site are of the actual album you're buying, not stock photos. This way you can make a judgement yourself. We have used stock photos for the new and sealed albums as they are often sharper and better quality than our pictures!

We will always try to keep our prices competitive. All of our new and sealed vinyl is priced under major high street chains wherever possible. We can't compete with Sale prices but will aim to be well under their stock prices in 90% of cases. We price our used vinyl using Discogs actual sales, not the average and highest prices that can be distorted by one incredibly rare copy. I hope that this means you are getting a good deal and we are getting a sale and, also, a repeat customer.

We will also make sure that orders are shipped quickly and in strong packaging. If possible, orders will go out the next working day. If not, it will be the day after that without fail. We always use Royal Mail Tracked services and will supply you with a tracking number (if you supply an email address!). Vinyl is shipped in custom made packaging with extra cardboard stiffeners either side of the vinyl to do everything we can to ensure safe delivery.
