Writing these blogs has taken a back seat for quite a while as the business of buying and selling records has really taken off. There just isn't enough time in the day!

This brings me on to the first update. When I started Hair of the Dog Vinyl I was desperate to give our customers the best possible experience (and that's still the case!). One of the things I was sure I wanted to do was photograph every single record that went on the site. As time has gone by, I have realised that this is almost impossible and so I have enlisted some clever people to help with this. The photos you see from now on will be representative of the sleeve and come from stock photos, as happens on 95% of sites. This way I have the opportunity to add far more vinyl to the site and give you, the customer, even wider choice. I hope you will appreciate my reasons for this change.

The second thing I wanted to mention is the release of the first HOMEWORK album Bang Here if Stuck. You may remember I interviewed them for a blog post a while ago and they have gone from strength to strength, culminating in a fantastic album that is available through their Bandcamp page. They are very much their own band, with their own sound, but if I had to compare that sound to other bands it would be Teenage Fanclub and Pavement.  Go listen on Spotify if you aren't sure and then buy the physical album to support them. It's a genuine cracker and you will not regret it!

Cheers
